I knew when I first saw Dessi Desu's Deedlit design that I had to tackle this project. This project began in late October 2024, taking approximately 7 months to complete. Every aspect of this cosplay had to be created from scratch. For the dress I found a lovely shade of green dupioni and a beautifully muted gold from Silk Barron.The dress includes custom gold work appliqués, thousands of rhinestones and custom pattern work.
All of the armor pieces were patterned using the plastic wrap/duct tape method. The details of the armor pieces were hand sculpted using EVA foam clay. Armor was airbrushed using jacquard paints. Gold detail was hand painted onto each piece. Her belt is crafted with veg tan leather and custom dyed/painted.
