I needed a comfortable cosplay to wear from time to time and Sphene's 7.3 patch update streetwear look was perfect. This was such a fun project to take on. A no-pressure, fun build. The jacket was patterned by me, referencing both the concept art as well as her in game model. I used some soft suede-like fabric I've had sitting in my stash for some time. It gives the soft, marshmellowy look I wanted.
The shorts were thrifted and heavily modified. I cut them shorter and distressed them to match her look. I also added the yellow details to her back pockets, as well as the elongated pocket pouches.
Her grimoire "Melodies of Life" is a fully bound, functional book. I was able to capture images of some of the pages from a screen grab and incorporate them. The cover is EVA foam covered in worbla.
Her leather belt was also patterned and created by me. I hand stitched the pouch (making sure it was large enough to fit my phone, wallet, etc) and her weird keychain fishhook bits to the belt.
